Facelift

Like I said on the previous post, it’s time for some changes at Magic Quiver. The first one is a new image for the blog. Once again, the design was made by my good friend Chris Haiderer, a talented Designer and Photographer form Austria and one of the most stoked surfers I know. Even though he lives very far for the sea, Chris is always thinking about waves and surfboards.

Chris updated his blog a couple months ago and you should pay him a visit http://trimmovement.blogspot.com/

Changes

----------------------------------------

Magic Quiver was born form my passion for surfing and surfboards. Never depended financially from it, it was all about the passion, keeping it just for pleasure, without letting money interfere with my plans for MQ. It didn’t matter if I had much or zero profit from sales, it was all about delivering another magic board and get a big smile from a stoked costumer.
In 2008 and 2009 the blog got bigger and bigger, with new labels and more products like wetsuits and some accessories. Magic Quiver was taking a lot of my free time and family and surfing were getting behind. It was time to change that. More time for the family and surf and more fun working.

So, I’ll start 2010 with some changes on Magic Quiver. From now on I only sell surfboards, no more wetsuits or accessories. Some labels will disappear and new ones will arrive.

I will continue my work to bring more shapers to Portugal because I believe that it helps the evolution of our market and our shapers. Those big names carry a lot of information and experience they can share with us.

Magic Quiver is more than an online shop; it’s a place to share information, experiences and the passion for surfing and surfboards. I want it to stay like this and hope that you keep coming back. Leave your comments and tell me about the boards you would love to see at Magic Quiver!
