When I wrote the previews post I was having a terrible week and was pissed with life. Life isn’t always fair and sometimes it’s easier to throw everything in the air and give up than fighting.
I’ve worked hard to get Magic Quiver to this point. Even if sometimes I think nobody cares about it or read the stuff I write that’s probably not true. A few of you care and read it. And you showed me that with your messages, comments and e-mails. I’m overwhelmed with the support I got from people all over the world.
Yesterday I had a nice chat with Rob from Royal Surfboards about surfboards and the surfboard business and after I went home all I could think was that I was being stupid (I used other words!). If those guys that live from shaping and glassing surfboards are having a hard time to make money and still keep doing it why should I quit instead of supporting them so we can enjoy their amazing talent for a long time? I can’t support all of them by buying boards but I can share their work online and spread the word so more and more people know about them. And that’s what Magic Quiver is all about.
I still need a break but I’ll be back soon with more shapers, more amazing surfboards and all the stoke that made me start this.
See you soon

the end
I'm sure I will miss writing and reading your comments or e-mails but the bad won over the good.
2011 just started a couple weeks ago and I'm already missing the bad year it replaced.
Talking about surfboards all the time and not surfing isn't doing any good to my mental health either.
Spending too much time on something only a few care about.
Have to concentrate all my energies on my real life.
So, it's done. Magic Quiver isover. (read post above)

Although with some delay, HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I don’t expect much from 2011, health, love from my family and if possible less problems and more happiness. And of course, I hope to surf a lot more than last year.
Sometimes we complain too much and don’t make the best of what we have. So I’m starting the year with a beautiful video of Felipe and Fabio Siebert making the best of tiny conditions that most of us wouldn’t surf. Video was filmed and edited by Rafael Ribeiro. Nice work!
