He started surfing very young at 12 and at 18 he shaped his first surfboard. But only a few years later, at 26 he went back to the shaping bay and decided to take it serious.
Doing everything on his own, from shaping to glass, sand and polish, Nacho makes almost every kind of surfboard according to his costumer request either it’s a classic log or the modern version of the Simmons design but he is most recognized for his modern Egg shapes that he makes in several fin configurations. It’s a user friendly design that fits the needs of most of the surfers and been a success in the water.
More than just surfboards with beautiful tints and polish his work is focused on performance and quality because in the end, that’s what really matters. But if the costumer wants the full package, Nacho won’t let him down and will make a beautiful tint and shinny polish.
I really like his boards, specially the shorter four fins eggs. It’s a very functional design great in most of the every day surf. But like nacho said to me, make it a 2+1 and will be amazing in the strong winter waves I have at my local beach.
