Busy week

This has been a very busy week for us, specially for Ryan. A lot of boards to shape! This week he finnaly managed to catch some waves and today he did an interview for the portuguese surf mag, SurfPortugal. Work is almost done, just 1 more day of work ahead. Then its all to Wavegliders to glass all that foam.

I will post more photos soon but in the meantime, here's a few from today, including a couple from the glassing of Flex Spoon.

Ryan is in the house

Ryan Lovelace arrived yesterday morning after a very long trip from Santa Barbara.
Like expected, he prooved to be a very cool and relaxed guy.
Most of the morning was spent talking.
After a nice barbecue outside the factory, a generous offer by Bruno Birra from Homeblown Blanks, Ryan decided to start shaping a board for himself instead of going to rest. Too much talk and no foam were making him anxious!

Today he started to work early and by midday, an amazing T.Rev Bonzer was shaped. First of it's kind!  Then he started working on a OG. Nice shape, very interesting with the twin keel/single fin combo.

When I left the factory he was drawing the lines for what will be another of his beautiful fabric inlays.

You can follow everything here and on my facebook page

Day two

Day two at the factory. Josh finished the amazing Big Fish Simmons and did a San Diego Keel Fish in the Morning. Then it was time for a Rocket Quad, and let me tell you... that board looks so good!!! That one got my attention.
When I left the factory he was working hard on a MFSQ.
Josh is a great guy and it's a pleasure to hang out with and watch working.

Day one

The day started with a tour to check the waves and our beautiful beaches.
When we got to the factory it lunch time so we just organized paperwork and tools.
After a good lunch Josh started working. The First Blank was a beautiful Red Cedar Triple stringer for a Big Fish Simmons around 9'6.
